5 Trumpets & Rhythm
Welcome to the official website for En Fuego. Information on gigs and future projects can be found in the news & gigs section of the site. The band comprises of 5 Trumpets & Rhythm section (Piano, Bass, Drums) playing a wide range of musical styles from modern jazz to 'Bach-style' fugues. Influences include; Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard, Miles Davis, Woody Shaw, Dizzy Gillespie, James Morrison, Bill Chase, Arturo Sandoval, Maynard Ferguson...............the list goes on!!!!
Back after a year away
We're finally back after a year away, all the members of the band have been away busy working on different projects throughout 2009, many of which will be featured via this site. The band have many performances lined up for 2010 including some major festivals still to be confirmed. There is also a change in the line up, obviously there are still five trumpets but the rhythm section has been extended to include more Latin percussion, changing the band from an eight piece to a ten piece!

Plans are underway to present an evening of entertainment early in 2010 in association with Eclipse Trumpets.
The evening will consist of a brass clinic held by Eclipse artists and the opportunity to play on the different models offered by Eclipse, before moving on to a performance by En Fuego, with a few guests. During the interval there will be the chance to perform the composition '13 Steps' by Paul Tucker, written for 13 Trumpets and rhythm section, the parts will be available soon in the education section of this site to download and woodshed!!! You will need to register before the gig to be included in this performance.
